ATM and OABR adapter 4 pin connector pins installation manual with description

Ok now we have this 4 pin connector

If you look closely, you will find numbers marked 1 2 3 4.

We will have to move 4 wires from quadlock connector to this connector.

Quadlock connector also has each pin marked with numbers, there is diagram.

So basically, we will have to unpin 4 wires from quadlock and insert these same pins to this 4 pin connector.

Quadlock pin : no31 goes to pin no1 on 4 pin connector

Quadlock pin: no32 goes to pin no2 on 4 pin connector

quadlock pin: no37 goes to pin no3 on 4 pin connector

quadlock pin: no38 goes to pin no4 on 4 pin connector

Please be aware that this quadlock is from bmw  f30 3er series, the bmw x5 f15 and other models may have different wire colors,

so just pay maximum attention ant the pin numbers:  Lets take F30 quadlock as an example:

Quadlock pin : no31 goes to pin no1 on 4 pin connector

Quadlock pin: no32 goes to pin no2 on 4 pin connector

quadlock pin: no37 goes to pin no3 on 4 pin connector

quadlock pin: no38 goes to pin no4 on 4 pin connector

Ok lets talk how to remove these pins and not damage them.

 you need to get this tool, its cheap at your local electronics shop or Aliexpress.

Or you can use very thing and strong metal screwdriver or needle.

Please do not try to push wire out using force, just pick the correct tool (needle) and correct angle.

First you need to remove these blue locks from both sides of quadlock connector.

With a flat screwdriver you can remove them.

Ok, now please  notice these flat holes on the  connector…..

With this tool, you can push to unlock the connector pin lock and you can pull out wire from other side of connector:

I can explain, you must push that needle to the hole and back until you slide this triangle lock down,

Then you will be able to remove wire with not using too much force. Just the tool must be correct.

Take out one by one and plug to 4 pin connector. Until you fill all 4 pins with wires.
