FEATURE INSTALLER STEP BY STEP

sometimes you may need to inject or re inject FSC codes to your navigation system.

there is simple way how to do this:

please go to google and search:  DOWNLOAD BMW FEATURE INSTALLER FREE

open this file and install it.

you should have this tab, and if car connected, you should see your car vin number. please check table below.

if you do not see your car vin number, that means enet cable is not connected propertly or car IGNITION IS OFF.

try to Turn car ignition and press: FIND VEHICLE

if you found the car, please press button below IDENTIFY

then you should see this table:

in that table, please write the feature installer code that you have .

when you enter the code, server will recognize your car VIN and you will see all other button options allowed like in the picture below

please go to the bottom and sellect START option. the system will start uploading fsc to your navigation head unit.

you may see BLUE SCREEN on your main navigation system screent THIS IS NORMAL! do not touch anything.

during the FSC injection your NAVIGATION system may restart several times. THIS IS OK, do not touch anything untill 

you will see SUCCESS on the FEATURE installer TABLE.

this means FSC codes are injected in to your system and also copy of FSC file was saved on your desktop.

now, you have to disconnect computer from the car.  unplug the ENET cable from the OBD port.
