the quad-lock connector has numbers on it, these numbers are important. please check this photo below:

the NBT or NBT EVO system Quad-Lock connector diagram is here:

for the first sight it may look difficult to insert or remove pin with wire from the quad-lock connector, but when you know how to do its become very simple.

the BMW quad-lock connector is like a LEGO constructor, you can split this connector to many small connectors. and then remove or replace pin places.

as you see in this photo,  for this you only need small flat screwdriver.

press this lock with scree driver and pull out the plug from quad-lock connector

After you pull out this plug from main quad-lock connector

you need to remove shell from the connector, please look, there is a lock here.

you need to lift the lock "green arrows"  and pull wire to the side "red arrows"

after you remove shell, it will look like this :)

the use the small flat screwdriver and press the pin lock here and gently pull out the wire:

the wire should go out and will be like this :

now you can replace this pin to any of the slots in the connector, this connecor has 12 slots.

or

after you insert wire to the slot, you will feel that wire locked and you cannot pull wire out without pressing the lock with the screwdriver

now you have to place this connector back to the shell. please notice there is an arrow

follow the arrow and pull the connector back to the shell

ok when connector is in the shell just place it back to the main Qualdock connector.

pull it down until you hear a Click!

the pins are in place, the plug in the shell and the shell is in the quad lock connection.  DONE!
