MINI COOPER LED RING WIIRING AND INSTALLATION AFTER UPGRADING BS01 TO EVO ID6

AFTER  YOU UPGRADE FROM BS01 TO EVO ID6, SOMETIMES LED RING WOULD NOT COME UP.

THIS IS THE STEP BY STEP HOW CHECK THE WIRING TO FIX THAT

please find this extra wire that is sticking and connected to nowhere.

you have co connect  it to the white connector that controls led ring. there is the photo below:

on the connector if you look very closely you will see pins marked from 1 to 6

you have to find the pin no 6, there should be like this:

you should find the wire is connected to the pin no6 already, so you have to peal of

some isolation (without cutting cable off) and connect the wire that is going from adapter to the wire that is

connected to pin no6. connect these two wires and put some isolation tape

ok now. isolate these cables with isolation tape and now we do next step.

please find the additional wire that is in small bag packed separate.

it can be black or other color, it does not matter. In this sample image....

Lets pretend the cable is yellow color. not black.

find one end of wire has metal pin.

you have in insert this pin to white connector no2. there is the photo below:

insert the wire until you hear the CLICK, the cable will lock to its slot.

try gently pulling it out and check if its fully locked. after lock wire should hold tide there.

now, when the pin no2 connected , NEXT STEP is the other end of cable you have to connect to

QUADLOCK

pin no12.

on the other side you will find pin numbers too:

normally no 12 is GROUND, its BLACK fat wire or Brown.

scrap off a little of isolation until you find cooper, and connect the yellow wire to that black wire

without cutting main cable, like in the picture below:

the final result should look like this, yellow wire connected to main Ground black wire.

look at the photo below:

ok now when you connected no6 (Control) and no2 (ground) wires to the white led

ring controller plug, you can try turn on your system and check the led ring should light up!

I hope you liked my Tutorial, if you find grammar mistakes do not judge me:)

our point is to make led ring work :)
